July goal:

I’ll commit to reading 4 books (but what a dream to read 6 and no longer be behind pace?).

What I read:

  1. They Called Us EnemyGeorge Takei
  2. The Angel’s GameCarlos Ruiz Zafón
  3. Last Act—Christopher Pike
  4. How to Be an AntiracistIbram X. Kendi
  5. The Art of StillnessPico Iyer
  6. The Printed Letter BookshopKatherine Reay

Excuse(s) for Not Reading More: No excuses. I read a lot.

Diversity? A graphic novel (memoir), dark mystery, YA “horror,” social activism, a semi-philosophical essay, and some fluffy modern fiction.

I achieved my dream of 6 books, but I’m still 1 behind. I think that may just be because I’m writing my wrap-up so late and I haven’t read much this month. I’ll commit to 4 books this month, though that feels like a stretch right now.
