Note: I quit linking titles to that big site that funds the rich dude and his space wars with other rich dudes. I’ve linked to Goodreads, but if you’re looking to support independent bookstores, my favorite local shop is Old Town Books (they ship!), and you can support my favorite podcast and a local shop of your choosing through their Bookshop.org link at KickBezosInTheBalls.org. And you can never go wrong with your local library!

Reading Goals:
1. Read 45 books – I finished 5 books toward my Goodreads Challenge. I’m at 13% and 3 books ahead of schedule.
- Audiobooks: 6
- Kindle: 5
- Physical books: 0
2. Decrease my TBR –
- Jan 1: 64 physical / 23 Kindle
- Feb 1: 64/23
- Feb 28: 64/23
3. Read 6 short story collections/anthologies:
- Jan: 0 (I forgot I set this goal)
- Feb: 1 short story collection
4. Read 23 minutes per day – I’m on Day 531 of my reading streak.
February wasn’t the best reading month. I read a book I’d really been looking forward to (Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow) that really let me down at the end. I tried listening to fiction, and it worked fine for short stories, but I don’t know that it would hold my attention for longer novels.
Some months, I start with multiple books nearly complete. I started reading a book for a new book club this morning, and I finished an audiobook yesterday, so I need to choose something new. I’ll commit to 4 books this month since I’m starting from scratch (and I’ve heard warnings that the book club choice may be a challenging read).
