- Apr – 3 (2 nonfiction/memoirs, 1 poetry)
- May – 1 (1 nonfiction/audiobook)
4. Read 21 minutes per day – I still haven’t missed a day (165/165), despite a heavy workload and short trip.
May was rough for my reading. I’m keeping at it, but I’ve hit a rough patch of books I don’t adore, which means I often read 21 minutes and then quit for the day. In addition to the 2 books I completed, I’m about half-way through a short story collection and almost 70% through another 400+ page book that got off to a very slow start. I’m also doing the final read of the 117k-word manuscript I edited. Here’s hoping I find my reading groove again in June (I have several books I’m excited about), so I’m setting a goal of 4, including the 2 that are in-progress.
