March was busy. Some of it was good. Most of it was stressful. But I did a lot of reading.

March goal:

March’s goal is 4. I’ve already finished one book (the joys of posting so late), and I’m almost done with an audiobook. I also plan to get back to Separation of Church and Hate. It seems relevant.

Result:

I finished 5, though I didn’t spend much time on Separation of Church and Hate.

What I read:

In-progress:

Abandoned:

  • none

2026 Progress

Star Ratings:

Based on the flat stars, not the quarter stars I assign in my reviews.

  • 5 stars: 1 book
  • 4 stars: 5 books
  • 3 stars: 6 books
  • 2 stars: 0 books
  • 1 star: 0 books
  • 0 stars: 0 books
  • Abandoned: 0 books
  • Not rated: 0 books

Pages Read/Hours Listened:

(Does not include partial books, abandoned books, or edited manuscripts)

  • January – 1319p, 8h 45m
  • February – 933p, 3h 30m
  • March – 1737p, 5h 40m

*Note: Storygraph has a slightly different number because they count what they think I actually read each day based on when I update my progress. I always count the entire book in the month it was completed, even if I read everything but the last page (or listen to everything but the last minute) in the previous month.

Reading Goals:

Read 36 books

I finished 5 books toward my Storygraph challenge.

  • Audiobooks: 3
  • Kindle: 8
  • Physical books: 1

Read 25 minutes per day

March 31 was Day 1658 of my reading streak.

I’m fairly underwhelmed by a lot of what I’ve been reading so far this year. I got a couple of gift certs for my birthday, so maybe I need to find something really good to read.

April’s goal is 3 books. I’m already more than halfway finished with one book, but we have some travel. And I need to find another audiobook to start.

As always, you can find me other places to see what I’m reading:

Also, I recommend supporting independent bookstores. My favorite is Old Town Books (they ship!). You can also support my favorite podcast through their Bookshop.org link at KickBezosInTheBalls.org (or pick a local shop of your choosing). And you can never go wrong with your local library!
