January was a very long month… but it’s finally over!

And a note: I’ve started using Storygraph because Goodreads is kind of clunky and owned by Bezos. But I’m finding Storygraph to be clunky in other ways, so for now, I’m still linking back to Goodreads until I figure out where I’m tracking and how I should be linking.

January goal:

January always starts with a reread of Zen and the Art of Happiness, which is short, so I’ll set a goal of 4 books for the month.

What I read:

In-progress:

Abandoned:

  • none

2025 Note: I quit linking titles to that big site that funds the rich dude and fascism a while ago. I’ve been linking to Goodreads, but the same guy owns that. While I figure out where I’m tracking and linking, I recommend supporting independent bookstores. My favorite is Old Town Books (they ship!). You can also support my favorite podcast through their Bookshop.org link at KickBezosInTheBalls.org (or pick a local shop of your choosing). And you can never go wrong with your local library!

2025 Progress

Reading Goals:

1. Read 36 books I finished 4 books toward my Goodreads Challenge and I’m 1 ahead of schedule.

  • Audiobooks: 1
  • Kindle: 3
  • Physical books: 0

2. Decrease my TBR –

3. Read 25 minutes per day – Jan 31 was Day 1234 of my reading streak.

My reading is off to a solid start for the year. Escaping reality is a primary coping strategy right now, so I hope reading continues to deliver.

I’m well into my next audiobook, but February is a short month. I’ll commit to 3 books.

As always, you can find me online to see what I’m reading:
