Welcome to Friday Reads. Each Friday, I’ll review any books I’ve completed that week, as well as share what I’m reading right now. And by “Each Friday,” I mean “some Fridays.”
(Shh, try not to notice that it isn’t Friday, ok? Thanks.)
This will be the last of these posts for the year. A few final reviews before I move into my monthly and then annual wrap-ups.
Finished:

Bad Dreams and Other Stories – Tessa Hadley – 3* (Dec 24)
It’s not that it was bad – I enjoyed several stories – but I didn’t enjoy most of it. I can’t even say why.

Christopher Robin: The Little Book of Pooh-isms – Brittany Rubiano – 4* (Dec 24)
The illustrations and quotes are quite lovely. However, it’s odd to see illustrations with a more grown-up Christopher Robin. There’s a huge amount of influence from the recent movie and I prefer to stick a little closer to the world created by AA Milne. Still, cute and I enjoyed it.

Coffin Bell: One – Tamara Burross Grisanti
Full disclosure – I haven’t read all of this issue yet, which is why I’m not actually reviewing it or rating it. But I’ve read over 200 CB submissions since June so this feels fair.
